What does the design of The World Flag signify.

The design of The Worlds Flag is no accident of imagination. Indeed all of its colours and emblems are indicative of some facet of this planet and its shared environment, including the solar system that surrounds it.

The Main Colours.

The main colours of the flag - blue, white and green were chosen because these are the  most apparent colours when the Earth is viewed from a distance. Blue to represent the oceans and seas. White to represent the clouds, and green to represent forests, grass, and cultivated fields.

The Central Disc.

The central emblem of the disc of the world is set against a black circle to represent space, which itself is enclosed by another golden circle to symbolise the sun.

The Eight Stars.

Either side of the main central disc of the Earth are four stars. These have a dual representation. The first is to signify the eight other planets of the solar system: Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto.

Eight continents.

These same eight stars also represent eight continents of the Earth. These are listed as follows: North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Oceania, and Antarctica. The significance of the eighth final continent is to commemorate the existence of legendary lost continents such as Atlantis and other lost civilisations of far ancient times. Regardless of whether one believes these lost civilisations ever existed the truth is that such legends have found a lasting place in world legend and therefore deserve to be represented on any world flag.

The Winged Emblems.

The two winged emblems at either side at the top of The Worlds Flag signify mystical and religious beliefs in the form of a winged messenger that portray the existence of spiritual beliefs important to people everywhere.

A single world banner to unite the world and its people.
